Here at Rancho do Buna we’re a family, and we look after your data the way we’d want ours looked after. This site is deliberately simple: there’s no account to create, we don’t keep what you write on any server of our own, and we don’t sell your data to anyone. Below we explain, in plain language, what happens when you use the site.

The form opens WhatsApp
When you fill in the quote form, everything happens in your own browser. We turn what you typed (name, dates, number of guests, room and message) into a tidy draft and open WhatsApp with it ready for you to check and send. What you write doesn’t pass through our own servers and isn’t stored by us: the conversation exists only inside WhatsApp, under Meta’s privacy policy.
If measurement is switched on, Google records only that a quote request was made, with the number of guests and whether you filled in your name and dates — never your name, your dates or your message.
Chatting directly on WhatsApp
Whenever you tap a WhatsApp button, the conversation goes to our number and is governed by WhatsApp’s own rules. We use whatever you share there solely to reply and help plan your stay — never for anything else.
Google on this site: visit statistics and the map
To understand where our guests come from and to improve the site, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, through Google Tag Manager. These tools use cookies to measure visits and how our ads perform. Measurement is on by default and the site shows no banner, but you can switch it off whenever you like via “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page.
On the Location page, the map comes from Google Maps: when it loads, Google receives technical data from your device, such as your IP address, under Google’s own privacy policy.
Besides Google’s cookies, the site saves your language (if you pick one) and your cookie choice in your browser. While the tab is open, it also remembers the dates and number of guests you choose on the Rooms page, and what brought you to the site (an ad, for example).

Your rights under Brazil’s LGPD
Under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018), you have the right to:
- confirm whether we process any of your data;
- access, correct and update your data;
- withdraw your consent;
- ask us to delete your data.
Since we keep no contacts database, in practice only two kinds of data exist. The first is the conversation you started on WhatsApp, which you can delete (or ask us to delete) whenever you like. The second is the browsing data Google measures, unless you opt out.
