Privacy Policy

Here at Rancho do Buna we're a family, and we look after your data the way we'd want ours looked after. This site is deliberately simple: there's no account to create, we store nothing on any server, and we don't sell anything to third parties. Below we explain, in plain language, what happens when you use the site.

The contact form opens a WhatsApp chat

When you fill in the quote form, everything happens in your own browser: we assemble a tidy message from what you typed (name, dates, number of guests, chalet and note) and open WhatsApp with that message ready to send. Nothing is sent to a server of ours, we don't generate a lead email, and we don't store what you wrote. The conversation exists only inside WhatsApp, under Meta's privacy policy.

Chatting directly on WhatsApp

Whenever you tap a WhatsApp button, the conversation goes to our number and is governed by WhatsApp's own rules. We use whatever you share there solely to reply and help plan your stay — never for anything else.

Audience measurement with Google

To understand where our guests come from and to improve the site, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads through Google Tag Manager. These tools use cookies to measure visits in aggregate. As a small family business, consent is on by default and there is no banner — but you can switch it off at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page.

Your rights under Brazil's LGPD

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018), you have the right to confirm whether we process any of your data, and to access, correct, update, withdraw consent and request deletion. Since we keep no contacts database, in practice the only data that exists is the conversation you started yourself on WhatsApp — and you can delete it, or ask us to delete it, whenever you like.
